◈ English Café?
영어회화 공부에 최적화된 장소로 게임, 영화, 뉴스, 신문 등 다양한 매체를 통해 실생활 영어와 가까워지고 친구들과 영어로 대화를 나누며 영어 실력을 향상할 수 있는 공간입니다. 코로나19로 인해 1학기 English Cafe 공간사용이 불가하게 되어 수업은 Zoom으로 진행될 예정입니다.
◈ English Café Conversation Classes?
우리 대학교 회화교수님들이 가르치시는 무료 회화 수업으로 이번학기는 코로나19로 인해 온라인으로 진행됩니다. 교수님마다 다양한 주제를 가지고 수업을 진행하고 있기 때문에 영어에 관심이 있는 학생들에게 영어실력을 향상할 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다. 더불어 영어회화 정규수업 수강하는 학생들은 가산점을 받을 수 있습니다. 가 ~ 즈 ~아 English Café 회화수업 받으러 ~
( 가산점 : 5회 수업 참여 시 기본점수 0.5점,
6회부터는 각 수업당 0.5점씩 가산점이 부여되어 최대 3점까지 획득 가능.
※ 5회 미만의 수업 참여는 기본점수 부여되지 않음.)
◈ 수업 기간 및 신청 방법
▶ 수업기간: 2022. 3. 16. (수) ~ 2022. 6. 2. (목)
*각 수업의 시간표는 구글 신청 양식에 있는 강의계획서를 확인하여주세요.
▶ 참가 대상: 영어 실력을 향상하고 싶은 명지대 재학생
▶ 신청기간: 2022. 3. 7. (월) 9:00 ~ 2022. 3. 11. (금) 16:00까지
▶ 신청방법: 각 Class Description 하단에 있는 구글 링크 또는 QR 코드를 통해 신청 가능.
한 수업만 선택 (※ 두 개 이상 신청할 경우 모두 취소됩니다.)
▶ 인원 제한: 각 수업마다 40명 제한 (인원 초과 시 자동으로 신청 마감)

Students can learn and evaluate several ways to manage and optimize their personal finances plus learn essential workplace terminology (vocabulary words and phrases).

| In Sean’s café, we will discuss current events and news from around the world. Each week, I will ________select a topic of interest. Topics are related to politics, entertainment, technology, the environment, sports, health, or even weird news. We will have some warm-up activities, learn some new vocabulary and e-x-p-r-e-s-s-i-o-ns, and then have a more in-depth discussion of the news story.

During the café hour, we will meet via Zoom and drown ourselves into a song listed on the Billboard Top 100. We will listen to the song, learn about the artist, watch the official music video, and examine and discuss the lyrics in groups. This café intends to present and inform students about current popular music that has achieved recognition from________ a music industry authority. Some music can contain themes or images that are meant for mature audiences.
